Straight talk, deep listening, and the tools to back it up

I've been in real estate for fifteen years, and training and coaching people in sales for fifteen. Somewhere in the middle of all that I became a certified expert in motivational interviewing, because I kept watching capable agents lose conversations they should have won, and I wanted a real answer for them instead of another script.

The agents who find me are usually carrying something heavier than a lead problem. They're worn down, discouraged, sometimes in a financial spot they can't see out of. My job is to uncover what's underneath, build belief, and get them moving.

People get into this business for money, time, and independence, and then discover that being successful the usual way means sixty-hour weeks. There is an easier way to work. You stop doing all the talking, you lean in, and you listen. When an agent gets that for the first time, and realizes they're in full control of a conversation without saying two words, it's a beautiful thing to watch. That transformation is what fills my bucket, and it's the reason I coach.
